    Hello fellas,
I was wondering if the tail gate of a 1926/27 Model T pickup is the same dimensions "size, height and width" as the Model A tail gate, say a '28-'31? Mine is a bit warped and beat up, so i'm looking for one in better condition for my pickup and a T one seems harder to find these days.
    thanks for your help,

I have a 28-29 tail gate i can measure for you this evening, however i dont have any info on a T tail gate.

Lmk if it is the A dimensions you need.

  4. I can't help with the dimensions but there is a place in Kansas called Model T Haven. You might try them for a T gate.

    Thanks Guys!
I was able to drive down to ALL FORD in Campbell, they made a call and found out The T tailgate is the same dimension as a Model A and will work with it, so that's good to know and will be easier to find!

I also took the time and called Model T Haven as you suggested and they told me the same thing except for a very slight difference on the hinge that loops around the bottom of the tail gate, which you can barely tell:)
thanks for taking the time to respond.
    cheers,
    cab
