Model A Timing with FS Ignitions

I just installed an FS Ignitions (Remund) distributor in a mild A 4 banger with a 5.2:1 Lion Head and a Stipe touring cam. I would like to get some advise on how to time the engine. I got it to run okay by setting it at 15 degrees advanced at 1000rpm, any suggestions?

That will work..I'm running 12.5 on one of my bangers with a full Petronix distributor.
