Well I have to say I am excited that I am going to start building this little truck. I bought it last year and held off until I had time to devote to it. Well it is time and here we go. :D

Now the fun begins. I had a couple of friends over for moral support.......:D Eddie the "FLAKE taping off the chop and "C" making important phone calls. That is me running the saw.

Thanks , it is a 5" chop. I was considering about an angle chop but I think it has a nice factory rake on the top already. So I decided a simple chop would be the right thinkg to do .

Well today is another day. I plan to finish welding the roof. But I wanted to post a ppic of the frame that this truck came with(THE RED ONE). So you guys/gals can see why it is not being used. I was shocked and stunned as to why it looked the way it did.

I am thinking the 283 that is is the frame or possibly a 425 Caddy.

As I promised more tonight. I finishe spot welding the back area of the cab and also decided that i would replace the humble roof sides that someone tryed to make years ago.

As you can see in some of the pics I had to relief cut the corners to allow them to spread open that way it keeps the filler use to a miminal. Oh yeah you can see were I got a little off with the sawzall. Oh well that is why I have a welder.

I am also considering this to the doors. But I have not made up my mind yet. I like the way the 32-34 cabs are rounded in the front of the doors.

Oh this is how it looks from the inside.

well I got the top cut out the rest of the way and i also took out the gas tank and firewall today. While the tank was out I filled it with water and cut the bottom out of it. I was very surprised to how nice it was,but I would never use it with a sbc under it. SAFTEY reasons. Well tomorrow is another day and i will tryto get more pics for those who are watching this build. Even though I have not had many replies this is one way for me to do***ent the build of this truck. Thanks

Well it has been a while and I thought I should bring this up to date. I had gone a few different directions as some may know. I had it almost together with a stock A bone ch***is and 35 Ford wires but an oppurtunity came u[p for me to get the 32 Ford ch***is that is currentley under it now. I have tossed around many ideas and finally had come to what you see. I am trying like hell to get this done for the upcoming Billetproof show this year in FL. I have 54 days and still have a **** load to do,but I am going to give it my all. I am a little nervous because the weather up here has not been playing well with us who have no real heat......lol.........I have a kerosene salamander that I am using to heat the garage and I tell ya it is just not that friendly between the noise and the constant running. I think I am going to get a thermostat for it. Well here I go and off to the garage so I hope those who have had interest in this build will chime in with thoughts.
