I got a kit from Soffseal, and the trunk seal is an e 715, but I can't for the life of me figure out how it installs. I can not get a good answer from Soffseal, and they have no photos or graphics that they can show me either.

Any idea of how this is to be installed on the car? photos?

any better ideas/products that the Soffseal one?

I don't think A's ever had rubber seals on the trunk lid . There is a built in channel around the trunk/rumble lid. Don't have any rubber seals on either of my A's.

I know they didn't come with one.
The seal kit did, and when it rains, the inside of the trunk gets wet, so I thought i'd try to install it, and maybe keep the water out

Glass or steel car .On my glass car Im using 3/8 fuel line Ill make a wooden block with a hole in it and hold the knife and pull the hose through the wooden block .Then glue it on .

  6. Install it on the lid. That way, it won't trap water next to the body.
