you fellas know of anyone selling s***ched seat covers or kits for a 1930 tudor. everything I've seen is a whole interior kit for $1300-$1600. i just wanna redo the seats.
Just go to any junk yard and get the second seat out of an 80's-90's Dodge Caravan or any other similar seat around 40-42" wide. They fit great and no need to upholster.
I couldn't find any either, I'm having a guy make me some. I ***ume you're talking about the little front folding jump seats? That's what I have, using them in a '26 roadster. Also, I think those minivan seats only look p***able if they're reupholstered in a period style and if the side hinges are disguised. A stock seat from the junkyard plopped into a Model A with the original upholstery looks like you went to the junkyard, bought a minivan seat and plopped it into a Model A.
i emailed cl***tique and they said "Complete kits are 1800 seats only would be 800 in a standard cloth material - 1200 for deluxe mohair". no interest in junk yard seats, i'm doing a pre-war hop up. I've got a solid upholstery guy, who likes to trade labor. i guess i gotta call in a favor after all.
Are you looking for the stock seats like what's in mine? I bought the interior kit from Lebaron Bonny but if you call them they will sell individual pieces.
Call the parts dept at Lebaron, catalog sales, and talk to Nick.Good guy- loves hot rods- and may be able to help you broker a deal. You might even know him and not realize he works there. Good luck with it. Mike from M***. (yeah, the bearded one!)
