model a visor

    would like to see some 30-31 coupes with visor welded on with a cloth insert,the visor sets low but to blend it in with the top it needs to be raised.thanks
     
  2. 30/31 model A allready has the visor flush with the roof cloth. 28/29 A has the visor about an inch lower than the roof cloth.

    Thats what i wanted,cant decide if i want a metal insert or cloth,iknow im going to weld the visor,i have a b waldon insert and would also like to know if you can keep your wood bows in place with metal insert,maybe screw from the bottom side?

    In case you haven't seen Grit's coupe, he just recently welded in a waldon insert. Tenative plan's are to add a cloth (vinyl) top later but until then he'll keep nice and dry. The steel insert just lays on the top ribs. Here's some pic's that I copied from his thread.
