Technical Model A wheel?

Can I put any wheels on a model A? I'd like to put steel wheels on it, but someone said you have to put a spacer or something on it so I TV fits correctly!

 

Yes there are little raised nubs inboard of each stud. Either grind them off or buy the spacers to raise the wheels off the nubs.
