O.K. so heres goes stupid question no.43What is the difference in size between a 28-29 Model A coupe windshield and a 30-31?I have seen places list windshield frames as fitting 1928-1931.So my question is will a 30-31 work on a 28-29?Thanks
The hindge is different but can be changed. The location of the arms may be different as well, but can be changed.
Don't know the diff. but i'm running 31 sedan in my 28 coupe , thats chopped 5" . Lot of people said it wouldn't work , I don't remember having any problems ! I did change the places where the arms went though !
28 /29's have a little protrusion on the bottom and wont fit 30/31's. 30/31's as I understand it will fit 28/29's. You can make a 28/29 fit a 30/31 by trimming down the bottom. All the aftermarket ones are universal.
