I have a 31 model a coupe that I'm going to chop 3". How do I take the original glass out of the frame. Does anyone make an aftermarket frame with a 3" chop?

    Thanks for your help.

There should be some screws at the top on the side, remove the screws, remove top part of windshield, by lifting that part up and away from the main part, once its off, slide glass out.

    Hope this helps

take the top off the frame. measure down 3 inches cut off at a 45 degree angle just like the frame has now. drill new holes and presto instant chopped frame. shouldtake a total af about 5 minutes. probablt the easiest thing of the whole project.

There are 6 bolts that hold the top of the frame on

2 go thru the face of the frame and have a nut on the back , and there are 2 on each side edge were the gasket goes and screw into a angle bracket inside the frame

    later kb
