what is the difference between the 1930/31 closed car windshields?
Snyders lists A-4510-A (coupe/sedan/pickup) and A-4510-B (slant windshield)

If you had a 31 coupe windshield on the bench and beside it a 31 Vic, what characteristics of the windshields would tell them apart ?

@Vic Walter unless I'm mistaken a Victoria windshield won't have a hole for the wiper since the wiper goes through the header above it. I think it may also be a bit shorter but I can't recall for sure.

I THINK the swivel arms are in different locations, I know they ASK FOR MORE MONEY with the slant window windshields.

  7. 30 vs 31 is vacuum vs electric wiper (holes).

  8. Slant windshields were used on Victorias, Town Sedans starting April '31, and 400A convertible sedans. My April 31 Slant Windshield Town Sedan came with a vacuum wiper.

All the Victorias were slant windshield the leather back by Briggs and the steel back by Murray. They first rolled off the line in Nov 1930 and were introduced Dec 14, 1930. 6,300 were 1930s the rest of the 40,200 built were 1931s. The total Victoria production was less than 1% of the total As built.
I think the window height of the Victoria is shorter than the rest. I'd imagine the glass is higher priced because it's a low volume part.
