Decided to replace the roof and body wood in a '28 coupe. Prices are high however Mike's Afordable seems to have better prices than some of the others. I realize this is quite an undertaking and if there is any difference in quality/fit between sources I'd like to know. Advice?

Always a fight , replacing the wood , take a lot of measurements before diss***embling and write them down = door openings front to rear width also diagonal side to side. not sure which supplier is the best , I'd call Bratton's or any good model A supplier and ask for recommendations.

Buy a belt sander and block plane. You won't get it done without at LEAST these.

Sounds a little difficult but I promised myself an A with a full wood kit and this car will do the trick.
    Thanks guys.

When I built my stretched '29 CCPU, I did my own wood for the top and bought the individual pieces from Bert's in Denver.
