model a wood replacement

    looking to replace some wood in a 30 coupe with metal,any pics or advice on what works the best

    So, what pieces are you looking to replace.
    I have replaced all the floors in my coupe with metal floors and put in a rear firewall between the p***anger compartment and rumble where my fuel tank and battery is.

    i wood like to replace header,wood above doors and door post wood with metal,i will keep wood around rear and qtr. windows

    Just replace the wood with a good wood kit. If you don't your upholsterer will kill you, he/she will need it to nail the panels to.

    The header is a m***ive piece of wood and whole windshield/frame plus the front on the roof
    and visor.
    I just bought a new top wood kit from Braton's and will replace the wood around the door with angle iron. I already have filled the roof and just want more support for shoulder harness/seat belt attachment.

    Second suggestion...Cypress or teak (light and stable durable wood...that resists rot)
