Where are you guys getting your wood? I am not interested in the little blue pill :)
I only need a few pieces from doing my my chop. I have had them on order from my local hot rod shop for a four months. They have been good at calling the company and trying to get a timeline for me and have gotten me a few pieces but I am now stuck waiting for these last few before I can get my car on the road for the last bit of the summer.
I have been told there is only one place making wood anymore. Any ideas?

Thank you for the link. Anyone know if Fordwood.com is still in business?

Thanks Bob. How long ago did you get the wood from them? Their website no longer is working. I will try and call them latter today.

I got my wood kit for my special coupe from Bert's in Denver. You might try and see if they sell individual pieces.

Thanks for the help guys. I emailed Berts Model A Ford Parts and they had all the pieces that I needed. Just got them in the mail today and started installing them. They were great to deal with and the prices were good, parts were shipped same day I ordered them and they were here in three days. I am very happy. :)

  9. Bert's is a good outfit. They usually specialize in a lot of NOS parts, and original parts.

Future reference; Bert's , Snyder's, Mac's, Sacramento Vintage Ford - most have everything you need , some might not break up the kits ( which are fairly expensive- 400 bucks +/- ) Good luck with the project- pictures??

  11. I buy all my Model A parts from Tams.
