Hard to tell from the pictures where your feet were, but...it's easier to really crank on a bolt when you are standing on the engine stand legs. If your feet are on the floor, the whole stand rolls around instead.
yeah I had half my body and foot jammed against the stand because the whole engine felt like it was going to fall over with the torque being exerted..
