okay that's as far as I can go with the tools at hand... Need to dig out the porting and polishing bits...
Every time I polish something I gain new respect for those who do it. And I think, "Why didn't I spend the extra $20 for the polished part?" Of course, you're using the intake you already had so you didn't have that option.
yeah i've been posting a little differently now... This shouldn't be an issue in the later posts... PS they don't have the 32" computer monitors in England? LOL
I think I would have used a micro shot bead blast on the intake. Per more original. Leave the Sharp lettering on the part. You will devalue it if you remove it. Every time I ever try polishing a big part like that I send it to a pro, I just can't get into the vibe of polishing, they laugh at me and pat me on the head and tell me how smart I am for knowing when to stop and not F#$k the part up. There's some stuff that none can fault you for not doing yourself, and a good polisher really is an under appreciated artist.
It comes from years of polishing rims, and various motorcycle parts... Trial and error I guess...LOL LOL... Yes that is very neat looking... I'm a little bit like you... I like the shiny blingy stuff, I think I will be polishing my carbs out too!
