I actually agreed with him on that one! Lol... Maybe for the next build eh... It's wall art currently!

I really try and use any/all criticism as positive... Even though the delivery is off at times I feel that most people on the HAMBURGER mean well and I have sifted through a lot of the hazing. They feel you out to make sure you are not a wannabe/etc. Which I kinda am (I wanna be myself!) anyway he actually motivated me to re-design my website as others had also complained about poor design, and I have had a much more elegant nick cates designed piece that is a lot more user friendly. The only issue I have is if u are to criticize you must bring at least three different courses of action as a solution or it's just plain old whining/bitching. Other than that thank you for your comments! As you caused me to reflect upon where I am now as compared to 2 years ago with ye olde disease process known as hot roddin!

Found your thread yesterday. Just finished reading all the way through! It's been said repeatedly but I'll say it anyway: great attitude, way to handle the haters, build it for yourself first, keep up the great work. Oh, and you need more pictures :)

You have come a long in short time, but mentaly you made it so much longer.

I don't understand why you have 3 pages, with post with one-photo posts. But then again they was damn good photos!
I personly I dont get why you dident go with that other body.

Thank you... I just love the pics :D

Thanks, your words made my day! On the single pics, I get so busy that I often don't have time to add three at once... Plus I'm a post whore lol

Looks worse in the pics lol. Well I hope it is  we will see after the blasting  quick question, where do I get a dropped axle that will bolt up, maybe 4-6" drop, that is old looking or just an old one?

Aesthetics really. This goes back to Jimmy B's drawing. Nobody likes an ass dragging hot rod, it just looks weird, or like it wasn't planned out well. I can't remember (and haven't looked back in the thread) but isn't your Z pretty deep?

Look at my T build. The frame is Z'ed 6", the axle is dropped 3" but with the spring behind front end the front will be down about 5" total. Not enough rake for me buy it's close. The rest will be made up with rubber rake.

Of course this was all planned from the very beginning. We knew approximate tire sizes early, and the final stance we wanted.

Yes that makes more sense! The higher the rear end frame is the more the front will need dropped to lower stance... I think I will go with 6" what u think?

Been raining here in KY... The warm KY rain that has been mentioned in many great songs over the years. Front end has been blasted. Will pick it up tonight and shoot (yes you guessed it) a ton of pics... Also I will need to remove my old tires with some tire irons, and grab my 17's to drop off to the blaster. I will use a hammer to break the bead, or just run it over with my truck! Then muscle the tires off with the irons. Question on stock spoked 17's, how wide are they for tire selection? i.e 4.5, 5.0, 5.5 etc? or do I just measure... and if so from what point? lip to lip etc? please advise...
