I like the look in post 1674 without the tub on it. Maby you only need about 10 or 12 inches of the tub to get the door jambs and then start with the hood. Just a thought if you had two hoods you could flip one of them to make the under side of the boat tail.
My Tremec WC trans came in today also... I can't even imagine rowing the gears on this! Mhhhm mhmmm (those are up shift sounds...) Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Have not been on this Thread for a while, went to last page and WTF! I had to back up a few pages and see this was the same T Tudor you started with and it was! The word FEAR is certainly not in your vocabulary! Good luck and I'll be sure to check this Thread more often!
So I find that my bell housing (53' 8ba truck) does not work with my adapter plate I purchased...:roll eyes: The guy at Moderndriveline inc, helped me through the process! He is a great guy, and gave me multiple options, to include: returning the piece, taking my bell housing in and making a custom adapter (6 week lead time) or advising me in another solution which I chose to go with a car bell housing. Great guy and will definitely be dealing with him in the future <a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-4.png.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-3.png.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-2.png.html" target="_blank"></a>
I ordered this the other day and will blast it and then mock it up...<a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-1.png.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file.png.html" target="_blank"></a>
Some more progress… <a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-5.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
lining up the panels and side steps to figure where the rear fenders will go...<a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-6.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
lining up nice and tidy with the stock frame...<a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-10.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>

So this fender got beaten pretty hard...<a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-16.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-17.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-18.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
plus some smaller areas of damage...<a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-19.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-20.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
Knocked out the small area real quick...<a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-25.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-26.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
This fender needs to be re-sanded and worked for about 3-5 hrs… I just went with a little bit of pounding to try and correct the "direct" impact point, hoping to solve the indirect damage on its own...<a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-22.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-23.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-24.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-21.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-15.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-14.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-13.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
I worked it on the shot bag, with various different hammers, and then with some on and off dolly work. Suffice it to say this fender will need a lot more work but does look a tad better for my current mock up purposes… <a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-27.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-28.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-29.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
Moving in the right direction...<a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-30.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
Removed the rear bones...<a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-31.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a><a href="http://s671.photobucket.com/user/pennfxu/media/27%20Speedster/file-32.jpg.html" target="_blank"></a>
