Test fit the brake Assy to the drum and spindle
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1416875851.310487.jpg
Used the old 3/8" hex head drilled shank bolts with the associated castle nuts...
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1416875949.737536.jpg
Suffice it to say I think they are not big enough so I ordered the 7/16-20 ones...

A certain order definitely needs to be followed here, as the king pin will not fit with the brake Assy together like this... More to follow as I'm done for tonight

I hope you greased the lip on the grease seal and the spindle too. Doesnt look like it. You can add the self adjusters to those Lincoln brakes. Those keep the brakes adjusted evenly and you dont have to do it yourself

As your shoes wear down the slack has to be adjusted out. Every time you back up and apply the brakes, The self adjusters rotate the star wheel. They do it evenly so you dont have to do it.

I used the stock steering parts but the spindle arms have to be heated and bent
The bottom arms have to clear the wishbones and the bottom of the pan.

The upper arm has to be bent down as much as possible to keep the drag link as close to parallel with the ground as possible

Ok Many, apparently only a mild spindle arm bend as the tie rods will go over the bones...
Also have a question??? What is the best ladder bar set up, P&J or speedway? For a 42-48 rear end that actually looks like truck and car mix...

Can't go wrong with P&J, where a lot of Speedway stuff is made in China. (A lot is made in the US too, check and see.)

My .02 only, but I refuse to skimp on suspension, brakes or steering. When everything goes to shit those are the three things you need to get you safely to the side of the road.

Ok do you recommend some kind of special kit? I.e that is weldable and comes with all of the bushings, weld on bungs, coil overs etc? That fits a 42-48 rear end?
