Apparently don’t need this now? Something like this? Can I hide it in the original? Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Clutch disk... Original spark plugs wires. Any ideas on the best spark plugs?? Gap?? Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
All the joking aside, you must have found that the block is indeed set up for the 95 system, a grub screw is indeed blocking the 3rd port? so, then you ask about the filter can, yes, i have seen folks hide a spin on inside the old ford can. Sorry, I cant point you to a link, but it has been done. I used Aeroquip , a brand name, for all the lines on my remote filter. Its a black cloth covered hose , invented in WW2 for aircraft, and still used today in all the big trucks for oil and air lines. good stuff, and the ends screw on the hose so you can make your own lengths at home . there is a trick to it, let me know if you go for it
Acquiring a 28-29 Model A Sports Coupe Body... Will put T body on the Model A 28 chassis. How do I change the thread title for the 4th time??
No, roadster doors are shorter making the quarters longer. Where sport coupes are “stubbier” in the back. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
So if you hack off the cabriolet is it a stubby "roadster" in essence? Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I've been looking at this thread and have gotten back when it started as a really rough T sedan. It has been a really interesting read, but what are you doing? You don't seem to have a plan but keep on changing horses midstream. How about posting a current picture of your chassis and let us brainstorm and give you our thoughts on how to proceed?
There are 3 hotrods being built at the same time: 1. A 27 model T Tudor on a 28-29 Model A Sports coupe chassis 2. A 28-29 Model A sports coupe ( I kept the original 27 thread going as it has all the work for the final build on it for the 28-29 body. This body will be going on the model A chassis originally intended for the model T 3. A 33 3 window build Pics will clear everything up... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you have a sport coupe body I'd hope you keep it a sport coupe, not a hacked up "roadster". There are way too many details needed to make a cut-off coupe into a good looking roadster. Not to be a snob, but I'm gonna: They don't look right. But, a sport coupe still looks cool, and you should leave it a sport coupe.
Good question... if you read near the end of my post you will see the answer to that... The long and short of it was I have not even made a conventional hot rod so I did not want to venture down that lane until I had. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You checked for the grub screw inside there? Looks like the paint hasn't been tampered on the side plug.
Coming apart quite easy so far? Used a very light scuff disk and maroon scotch brite pad... I never wear a mask but this shit was heinous! Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I figured as much... but couldn’t find my 7/16” The 11mm was a perfect fit also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
