CURIOUS........... ¿Has anyone ever built a MODEL A with a STOCk body frame rail on a MODIFIED Model A chassis that has been Z'd (channeled) ?? Also using the STOCK hood; radiator and full fendered??? Thank you in advance, Mike
If its channelled , not sure you could still use a stock radiator and hood. Were you planning on channelling it with the stock floor sub rails or just going to zee the frame? I'm confused!!
It can be done. Fendeless it has been done a lot. Look at east coast rods, they were fenderless but were known for channel and no chop, you can get the same effect by Zing the frame. Its a little hard to run a stock radiator if you Z the front, you are better off to get your drop on the front with suspension. If you are going to drop it much with fenders you run into another problem, the tires hit the fenders so the fenders will need to be raised. That can also be done, it is work but it can be done.
