Here is a shot of a friend's sport coupe. Hard to believe this hot rod has been on the road nearly 40 years, basically unchanged. This is one of my favorite hot rods!

My Dad got this '30 std roadster in 1946 for $100.00. Drove her pretty well every year till he died in '83. 35' wires and a Winfield cam other wise stock, same maroon paint since '46 :

I've been working on this for my 83 year old customer/friend, Ernie Mauro, a Coronado CA. native. Started this project in December. It's built with all Henry's steel except for the visor and rear rolled pan...and the bamboo of course. The chassis is mostly all traditional parts..Model frame, split bones front and rear, original dropped axle. Mostly built from parts that he or I had "laying around". Don't know if it fits here on the HAMB. Let me know. We're having a lot of fun with this project. The top will be covered with convertible top cloth soon.
