What is the height, width, and length of a flathead model b engine? I have been looking for the measurement for some time, but I can never find it.

And just where would you like those dimensions taken? Across the pan rail or across the head? Or overall including carburetor/intake? From the bottom of the pan to the top of the head?-or to the top of the distributor? front of block to back of block? Or front of crank to back of clutch housing?

I have a model B engine that was put into my Model A. It measures 27" from fan to rear of head, 3" longer to the bell housing. 21 1/2 inches from pan to top of flathead, 27" to top of water hose neck, which is the tallest point of motor. 17 1/4" wide from garb to outside of starter, or same for bell housing width. Hope this helps.

Those measurements are for a 4 cup engine by the way.
