It's a kit by Revell of a 1951 Thames gasser. Came out (first time)around 1966-67

Hopefully they put Mag wheels on it like the original and not the chrome centerlines like last issue.

I had that exact release when I was a kid....such a pain in the ass to put together, the doors never worked right and the split tires were b.s. so I gave up, haha

True Deuces, but the box art would look much better if it lost those fugly centerlines

Hope they bring it back with the same art work on the box.... Revell did it right with some of the old kit re- releases in the past like the Orange Crate, Tony Nancy's double dragster and Mickey Thompson's Challenger One... Which is out again this month...

I have been looking for this one for a long time. I had the kit when it was new around 1970. The Sock It To Me phase was a popular line from Rowan and Martins Laugh-In, TV series.

The new revell kit is way better than the A.M.T. one.

I remember this model as a kid, one of the coolest. I don't remember having a hard time building it, but I do remember the door was always open...so it probably never shut right.

  24. There was another version by the same model maker called the Heavenly Hearse. You could actually build a stock hearse.:D
