Model car...box art!!!!

    Box art eye candy was way better for ya than the real thing sweet stuff. Memories better than the DSCN3307.JPG cavities.

  9. You probably know by now the AMT reissue kit is not even close to the quality of the original 60s version. Still worth finding an original for a righteous build.

  19. A 1950's Hubley metal kit. This is the first complete, un built Hubley model I have seen in over 25 years building Hubleys from pieces scrounged at swap meets and garage sales.

  21. I've got two Hubley Duesenbergs built by my dad in the 70's, and 2 mint in the box Duesenbergs. One is a town car the other a phaeton. This is the built 2, the unbuilt 2 are at home.

    You can tell the Hubleys are older,both the Duesys and my Packard by the yellowed whitewalls.

    They are a series of "Egg Tanks" by Meng. Based upon the World War Toons video game. Really fun little slump busters.
