woah, cant believe i missed this, well friday i did some more work to my 53 ford pickup. the chop is pretty much finished, and now i need to focus on smaller details, then i can paint it.
Kind of off topic with the photos I currently have but I developed a metal ch***is kit to put under your favorite 1/24, 1/25 scale kit in the 90's. I called it "Action Modeling" and we had a blast, here is a couple of my builds..... One of my favorite drivers, this car has a "Paper Body" I built. I built this one also out of paper with an aluminum wing for a friend This photo is of an aluminum bodied car I built for my son complete with my wheels and aluminum wing. Garlits and "Mousie" autographed. Lastly a poor action shot of racing on my track.
what would these be called?, i thought they were slot cars at first not rocket cars. awsome fab skills!
I call them LBR Rocket Cars. They are unique in the fact that they have a "drive system" that the rocket powers and to steal a phrase from model airplane people they are "free flight". Here is a photo of the kit and of the drive. Thanks for the kudos guys.
