Probably not. Those wires were a little oval. These are nice and round.

Thanks, it's a beater. I built it before I knew what I was doing. Started it in 1993 when I was 17.

These were taken when it was under construction, while the windshield frame and coilovers were still chrome. The last one is a photoshop picture of what my current build will look like.

The OP included T buckets, rpu's and tourings in the title, what's the question?

In post #762, I mentioned that the last picture in the post was photoshopped. I wasn't trying to fool anybody into thinking the car is finished, I just wanted to show what it will look like when it is.

I am making decent progress on it and hope to drive to the ROG. I can't enter it because the engine is an Iron Duke but I'd still like to drive it to NJ.

I'm really impressed with your low seating position. I stuck out of mine (also channeled) a good 8" further!

Unfinished pic (only one I have) of Dallas area 27 I built in 60s. Candy red, 301, VHT painted headers, glide, open-drive banjo, Firestone Indy tires. 1740 lbs. Fun car. Still looking for any pics of this one. Was later owned by a guy in Mesquite who painted it orange.
This chassis was cut out with a hacksaw and file following the motivation of a Car Craft How-To-Build a T series. Thanks to Jerry Fain for excellent welding of chassis parts.

Ha ha, I'm impressed too for about the first 2 hours, then it sucks. But then again, I didn't build it for comfort, I built it to boogie.

Because the frame is low and the body is channeled, it has a pretty big trans hump and there's no place for the go pedal except up on the hump, which doesn't help. But damn these little cars sure are fun aren't they? A mild motor, regular gas and yet as a friend said, not many cars pass me if I don't want 'em to!! Yours looks like a fun ride, nice proportions.

I'm liking this car. Probably handle better than a go-kart.
