Technical modern spark plug wires for 8BA/8CM??

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by alteredpilot, May 28, 2024.

  1. Can't seem to find any. I have a '49 with a Pertronix unit in it, and I'd like to replace the stock type wires with a modern style wire. Anyone have a part number or where to find? Thanks in advance.

Just ask for a set for a 70 Chevelle, with a 350 at the local Parts store.

What do you mean "modern" wire? I have a set on my 8BA from Dennis Carpenter that have Ford Logos and are not fabric coated.

I used a new set of wires for a Chrysler on one of my flatties. About 3K miles on them and they are leaking already. I think they were from CarQuest. Be careful what you buy nowadays. :(
