    Decided to condense the build pics to one thread.

    Back around Christmas I figured it was time to get going on the modified;
    having cleared out a build that was a pain in the****, it was time to do something for myself, and nothing gets me more excited than a modified roadster.

    About a week before Christmas, good old Stock Car Metal sent their delivery truck here with 200 feet of 1.250 tubing and a few sheets of .063 and .125 aluminum and I started bending tubing for this design that has been bouncing around in my head for some time now.

    The car has what I call a "distorted" pre-war era style"; though it would have been a stretch that someone would have constructed something like this during that period. I'm cheating in the engine department by using a Ford 2.3 with Weber side draft carbs. I'm blending some indy roadster influence into the car; and running a dry sump oiling system on the engine, hence the oil tank mounted on the side.

    Right now, I'm getting down to doing a lot of small PIA things and will, hopefully, in the next several weeks take this thing apart and begin the finsihing part.

    Go the fillers mounted on the gas tank and the oil tank. Also got the rear body panel finished and the rear cap for the belly pan done as well.
