Well, it's been a while, but I've been fussing with a lot of little pain in the**** stuff, you know the important little things that nobody would even notice and truthfully; I can hardly remember what I've been doing, but I've been busy!

I did manage to get the model A steering box finished in to a center steer configuration, with the help of Frank, the machinist at Hedgecock Racing. I was inspired by the thread by HAMBer daredevilcustoms and how he built his, I just changed a couple of things.

I also managed to mount the hand brake, which was eGay find. And I did all the mounting tabs under the cowl area for the elecetrical stuff and made "dashboard" which mounts to the trans.

Right now, I'm waiting for my gas tank to arrrrive so I can get the back end finished up. If all goes well I should be taking this thing apart by the end of the month and begin final welding and begin the finshsing process. Keep your fingers crossed!

    Thanks for the compliment.

Color plans are very simple and straight forward - Chassis gloss black, wheels are already coated semi-gloss black, body red with the Flying A gasoline logo on the doors. There's s a story behind this but it would take too long to explain.

That's sweet but I have a question about the pedals....looks like there's 2 on the left ...brake and clutch?? and I****ume on the right is the gas...but how do you plan on pushing in the clutch and brake at the same time with just your left foot.....or am I missing something>

I have a similar set up in my other modified, I just manage with fast foot work, plus I have a hand brake.

Your Ace of Spades car is one of my favorite of the era modified car build picks.

This current build or excise, you have captured the illusion of motion while sitting
    still.

Any chance of a picture of the 2 cars together?
