Customs Modified some hubcaps for my '49

I really like the '56 mercury 4 bar spinner hubcap , but for some reason they wouldn't stay on my wheels. Couldn't even get out of the driveway! So they sat in the shop attic for a while.
Yesterday I was comparing the merc hubcaps and some 53-55 Olds hubcaps and I thought I could fit the merc spinners on the Olds caps. I think it works great, what do you think?

Thanks guys. I've put about 100 miles on it since I put these caps on and they stayed on tight. No problems with bumpy roads, curvy 2-lane black tops, or high speed chases.
