Has anyone here modified a set of the stock 3-rib shoebox fender skirts to more of a full coverage, non-ribbed version? The 3-rib repros are cheap, and all the mounting hardware is there, but I hate the ribs.

I am wondering if they can be cut apart to maintain the mounting hardware and bottom flare, but add material for a more complete coverage.

    Yep,Big A is right.
Or you can try to find a Foxcraft fenderskirts, they look a LOT better than the ribbed skirts.
