Great Pictures, If you have a picture of a chopped 47 Plymouth with a Cad grill I would to see it. I have heard that my car was ran there in the early 60's
    Thanks, Dennis

Wow, Derby gas...was it from Derby, Kansas? I worked at a Sinclair station in Independence, Kansas while in high school and premium gas sold for .33 a gallon. It cost just over $6.00 to fill up my 55 Chevy.

GREAT PICS MAN ! TOO COOL !

One other thing that pops out in the crowd around the dragster picture is how skinny all the guys are.

If you took the same pic today with todays kids...well lets just say that all that Fast food and sugar soda pop ain't good.
    No disputing it.

    Great Pics though.

  10. I was just talking a guy here in Pittsburg that started going to Mo-Kan in 1963. He worked the christmas tree in the late 60s. Name's Bill Hayden. He raced a 55 Chevy, if you have any pics of that I'd love to see them. Another guy I know says he spent a lot of time out there in the mid 60s. Jim Huebner. Seems like he had an early 60s Chevy. I need to ask him again. Bill doesn't think he has any pictures, but I'll ask Jim if he does.

Last one, I am starting get tired staring at the screen. Oh yea, for those asking about a CD with them on it, please PM me and I can get you a CD burnt. I will be giving the money to Pat Ellis and the other half to the HAMB, so how about $10.00 for the CD and I will cover shipping in the USA.
