I rolled out to nice little gathering of like minds hosted by Kustom Metal Werx in Ridgefield, WA last night after work. Aside from a good burger (which I had) and good looking dogs (which I didn't) there was the real reason I go to these things, look at the cars and talk to their owners and see some friends. I did all the above...other than the dog. There were HAMB friendly traditional hot rods, some sweet stuff from the late 60's and early 70's and some that just defied being defined. I posted the traditional stuff if want to take a peak but here is some of the OT stuff that I thought you would like to see. How is this for rare? I told the owner I cannot remember the last time I saw one and this one was fine. I got a front shot whilst he was pulling out GTS for you MOPAR or no car fellas in the audience. It apparently means business. No Camaros, and just this lone firebird with it's top down. Buick GS drop top A pair of them in fact, bookends as it were. One black and one white This was just a plumb crazy nice RT I like ****ernut yellow on the right car, this was the right car. And a very straight and clean Orange Crush mobile. I like traditional hot rods and customs but I also like muscle cars and street machines. An event with both? Priceless. And it was priceless, admission was free as was the chow. Go forth and enjoy your summer. And don't forget the 4th of July is coming up.
