I finally made the deal with the PO and this one is mine. It was a moonshine runners truck and had 6 tanks inside plus the fuel tank and a mile of copper line. The PO removed a vette 327 and is giving me a fresh 235 from a 57 that he had. I plan to lower a little and put on red rims with white walls. I hope to have her out on the road before to long. Any better ideas I'm open.

Black, white, or body color rims will look a helluva lot better than red wheels IMHO.

    Cool find.

Nice it has the rear bumper and seats, two very hard to find items for those panels.

I'm kinda with Dan10 and manny, red wheels have been played out. Dare to be different. Those rigs came with body colored wheels, they would look great with wide whites and poverty caps. If you're going to lower it I'd think about tri-bar or flipper caps.

another idea is the stock caps and small beauty rings

Here's one I was working on back in the early 80's:
It had a fairly rare (in a 1/2 ton panel) Hydramatic trans.
Yea I know, it has red wheels but that was 25 years ago.
This panel was last known in the Arroyo Grande, CA area.

I don't car what the trend czars say - The red wheel on that white delivery look perfect.

The truck came from Alabama somewhere about 10 years ago and is now in Winston. I have not got her home but plan to move her in about two weeks
