BTTT Well, it's that time of year again where this thread pops up for the FNGs:rolleyes:

  2. Would be fun to roll one of those for the winter. The people that don't have "WTF is that??" expressions would be majorly hating you instead...

 Thanks for bringing that up for us 'FNGs' ,I was a kid when those things were used , but it's still interesting. Reminds me of some of the home made tractors the farmers would build . :)

Back in the day the post office had cars like this for the deep snow up north and deep mud down south. So the owner might be recreating a postal carrier, and that would be traditional. no different than ski's on the front and tracks on the rear, all the way back into the 1920s.
It has drum brakes on the front and that single exhaust makes me think its original motor, even the rear fenders look correct. I dont think its on a modern 4x4 frame at all, I dont even think it is 4x4.

    Just food for thought.

  8. The damage could be undone no problem. When it happens I would like to have the drives and etc by the way. Been wanting to build me a rock crawler.

I'm a big fan of unique shit like that.

I had a 1966 Dodge Charger on a Dodge Ramcharger chassis, with a big block it went like hell in the snow, and turned heads everywhere... The 'correct-part-number-hose-clamp' MoPar crowd hated it, that alone was worth the $500 purchase price
