I own the mold for a Monster-T Bucket, that was built for a movie, about 15yrs. ago. I purchased it from a Hollywood prop warehouse, where it was stored since the movie. No one seems to know what the name of the movie was ***led. The T-body has been stretched 18", widened 12", deepened 8", channeled 7", and has a separate floor mold, and bed mold, that measures 3' x 4'. The completed rod looks as if it has been sniffing in a baseball player's steroid stash!! The mold was professionally designed and constructed, and was used to make two bodies. There are none in existence today, according to the prop place.
Time to break out the ol' cloth fibergl*** resin!! gonna make one? sorry, no help with the movie though
Funny you mentioned that. I put the mold on Ebay and received 4 times as many requests for a body, than I did bids. It seems a lot of big guys love to have a T, but won't fit into them. Doors can also be cut out of the body, as well as plugging or cutting the windshield posts to shorten them. There originally was a removable hardtop, but it dis***peared long ago. Unfortunately, I'm a tinkerer, not a gl*** man. Someone could build a money-maker out of this, even in these economic times.
