Hi, I am 46 years old and have been into old cars for most of that time. I have just recently become interested in old hot rods and have been learning a lot from the hamb. My current project is a 33 ford tudor. It'll be fenderless with a flatty. Other projects in waiting include a 35 ford 3 window and a 39 ford coupe. Any other Montana hambers out there? I feel like the lone ranger up here in north central Montana.

Montana sounds pretty good. Everyone knows the Lone Ranger is always on the move. Welcome from Dallas.

I used to do some work in Harlo, we would eat at the Sportsmans and fish the river after work. I went to MSU-N also, BS degree in EET (when they offered it). What kind of straight axle do you need?

i'm quite open to any axle at this time, a mid-late 30s ford solid front axle, preferably with spring and wishbones. i'm lookin to match my rear lug pattern, 5 on 4 3/4, which i jsut planned on swapping in some juice drums and spindles from a newer ford. and if i get to be choosey, have the axle be around 50-52 inches wide, which i believe it shoudl be. could u help me out gary?

    thanks

Hmmm, can't be much help there. I would keep an eye on eGay. I haven't found any yards around this part of the State that really has much old Ford stuff, it's been pretty picked over.
