There is a Moon coolant overflow tank on ebay that I was interested in (#2471592585). It is now over $150 and there are several days to go. The crazy part is that you can buy one from Moon for $107?! Can you believe what some of these numbnuts are doing? It is still fun to what all this ebay crazyness.

Same thing happens at a live auction. People get caught uo trying to out do each other. It's an ego thing. Sam

    Yep, thank you EBAY!

One of my current employees buys a few memory cars from Buy.com every week. She sticks them on Ebay with a starting bid $5 less than her total cost. Usually makes $20+ profit on every one.

  9. Yup, I just sold a rusted out Model A decklid for more than retail. Told it like it is, showed the rust, nothing hidden. still got more than new.

  10. maybe it is faster to buy it on ebay,at least the guy has it...try ordering it from mooneyes...the never have it in stock and they back order it,then you wait 6 months for it,and they charge your credit card twice

    ask me how i know

Last year I was bidding on a set of used TA Performance 78-87 Buick Regal 455 headers. The whole time I was bidding, I had another window open to TA Performance's website checking the prices. The used headers went over a $100 more than a new set!
I called TA and had a my new headers in a few days.

EBAY is a SELLER'S market I can't knock it, because that's how I fund ALL of my projects.
