me too...the rain didn't stop us then, and the heat won't this time.

 

I am 99.9% sure I will be there.

 

I am rolling in for sure..cant wait for the make up show for the hot temps tomorrow,wonder if we can get a spring show out of mooneyes as well?

 

its gonna be HOT!! they say around 103 degrees... i'll still be there

 

anyone know what time the drags start?

Mooneyes was sick! Way better than the "Lake Irwindale" show in December...

 

Oh ya how about that jet car? Ive never seen so many people run to the fence to see a car run!

 

Fucking missed it....ALL 3 TIMES! They should announce it. Hell, didn't even see it in the pits in the morning, so I wasn't even expecting it.

 

They did announe it! All 3 times I think. I dont know how you didnt hear the jet engine warming up hahaha!

 

I did not hear the announcement (obviously, or i would've seen the passes).
I did hear it warm up....all 3 times. But it was only a few seconds from that, that it made the pass. I just got off the phone with a friend that said it went OVER 200MPH in the 1/8! Pretty impressive, and he says a track record

 

Ya it was nuts!

 

I'll have a video of the rocket car on here tomorrow when I get home from work....

 

My buddy's and I were at the starting line.We were getting a kick out of the guys in the announcer house.The back to back hits of the afterburners were making the windows look like jello.Everybody inside were pushing onto the window from keeping it from breaking.HaHa
