Mopar 8 3/4" diff rebuild

    Hey, can someone explain the correct method for removing the axle bearings on a Mopar 8 3/4 inch rear end? Thanks y

    They are pressed on, any competent machine shop can press them off (most just cut them off) and then press new ones on for you, many of the new bearings don't use the axle end play adjusters which a lot of people think are a pain anyhow.

    I would also recommend using the green bearings, which like said before uses no adjuster and is all sealed. A lot easier for doing center section changes. With these you can just slide the axle in and out no problem - no adjustment needed.
