Mopar cardan shaft handbrake query...

  1. On a '60 Plymouth can these be adjusted externally or do you have to drop the driveshaft and get at it from the inside ?
    It's holding but I wouldn't trust it on a decent hill.:D

    Do you have the external one or the internal, For the external one, Basically there are three, a centering adjustment, the cir***ferece and the cable. Othe cable is the easiest but the centerig is the most important.
     
  4. external/internal? ..... it's a small drum on the tailshaft of the trans..internal I guess.
    Thanks for the link....looks like I need special tool #****..:D
    I reckon that would be rarer than...... an honest politician:p
