I have a 1976 Chrysler 400 in a 55 Ford pickup. I would like to hook up the stock idiot lite (in the stock 55 inst. panel). Can't seem to find a wiring diagram that shows and idiot lite for this Mopar setup. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Bill

Any Mopars I remember seeing (30s-80s) have amp or volt meters, don't remember any with an idiot light for the charging system. The power for the charging system idiot light for all the newer stuff (90s and newer) all comes from the on board computer. Gene

they ussually use a meter like 50 says ,because of the external regulator , since Chrysler uses a isolated field alternator because they use the ground to control the alternator vs using the positive side like most manufactuers .
