There is a mopar collector in Big Springs Texas selling out thru Spankies Auto Auction in October. Over two hundred cars and trucks from the 50's and 60's. A few in the 70 and 80's. Check out Freedom auto auctions.com. I know this should be in cars for sale but just too many to post!!
I must be getting a bit jaded because I only see about ten that I can even get excited enough about to look at the extra photos and hope there is a description. No indication that any of those 50's Imperials still have the hemi in them and that would be where the money is with those cars for the most part.
Thanks for posting. I always appreciate it when some take the time to put these things up. By doing so you are hopefully increasing the chance of these old cars being saved and restored or rodded, and lessening the likelihood of them going to their demise ( crusher )…….
Thanks for the post and the link. I’d be there in a flash if I was looking for a project. If I was closer I’d go just to spectate. Some really cool and rare cars.
I've got a soft spot for old Mopars, but I only looked at the first couple of pages of the car listings. For some reason I'd like to get my hands on that '48 Kaiser. What the hell is wrong with me?
There’s a bunch of desirable cars in that collection…have a look at the market for Forward look Mopars that go overseas.
Yep...got registered and making the plans for a look see. It's an on-line auction only but there will be a day to look them over. There are lots of seldom seen cars that are builders if your in to the brand. Good luck to all as I damn sure don't need any more but so are my buddies and hopefully between us we''ll beat the crusher !
this couldn't be further from the truth. motor's are easy to find they were pulled and saved, car bodies were crushed or left outside to decompose. i'll find you 100 motor's to ever 1 decent 2 dr hdt body
