Alright... I'm sure I'm not the only one here that has one of these. I heard that I can get some things like dual carb intakes, a bigger cam, header, etc. for these things. Unfortunately I'm having the hardest time finding anything. If you've built up one of these relics yourself, can you tell me what kind stuff you've done and where were you able to find performance parts? I guess I'm too used to the more current big block stuff I've been dealing with over the years (hehe). If you have pics, links, names, or whatever then post them on here for me. Thanks guys

I've been into the P15-D24 site. Unfortunately some fo the links no longer exist, but I need to dig deeper into their forms. Thanks so far guys. Great info!
E-pay, I always see Mopar Flathead "6" speed parts from time to time. While I was looking for my Ford with a six . Edmunds intakes and heads come up from time to time. Also try the Inliners Club. If you find the stuff hold on to it. I kick myself now for selling off what I collected.
i have a complete 218 for sale built with a fenton 2 carb intake split fenton headers reground cam edge alum head elect ign ported block rotor style oil pump kicks *** save your self lots of time im putting a hemi in my truck pulling 218 out you can hear it run also have a 5 speed s-10 trans adapted to it that can go to 414-588-6770
If you are working on the car in your avitar then you should consider moving up to a 25" engine. Even a hot 218 may not not have enough grunt to move a big sedan.... You can however, put a 230 crank and 230 rods in a 218...The longer stroke would be helpful. .
