Mopar flathead six on the dyno PLEASE HELP!

    Yeah, those fast idle cams are problematic. One idea would be to reinstall them and use a set screw to hold them in place. Lightly TIG weld them where they won't spread under the pressure of the set screw. That's probably the easiest fix, and adjustable. The idle side isn't that critical, because you have your idle speed screw to vary your adjustment. One could even use the cam to fine tune the WOT blade setting, depending on how you reinstalled the fast idle cam.

    I apologise for overlooking that "over center" situation. I'm not accustomed to seeing the choke mechanism completely gone. However, those loosely orbital fast idle cams weren't going to work well like they were - unhooked from anything.

    I'm as anxious as you are on this engine and the result.
