Awhile ago, I toasted some valves in my '55 Plymouth 230. So, I need some new ones. Are there any sources out there other than Kanter? What about conversions to a cheaper, more common valve? Anything I can retrofit? Thanks. Have a nice day.

  2. I've been told that the Mopar flat sixes were used in forklifts for years and that you could get damn near anything for them from forklift supply/repair places. Hope this helps, oh yeah and try a company called Ply-Do too....Or Egge machine..

Had ZERO trouble getting all parts (except the water tube) from a local machine shop. They even got the water tube after some searching. Even the better parts stores should be able to get valves.

Hey Jeff, stop at some old farm implement dealerships or repair shops. A lot of Mopar flat sixes were used in all kinds of farm machinery. My brother in law got many parts for his 37 Plymouth flat six some years back at a New Holland dealership. Maybe you could check at that big farm implement salvage place on Hwy. 14 near Evansville. Hope this helps.
