Got some in my Garage here in Hawaii. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/member.php?u=168537 Working on a Potvin 6-71 340 setup for the 73 Charger...should be a first? Aloha
1 here.... seems this is the only picture left of the 67 Coronet that I bought after Uncle Sam loosed his grip on me. It was owned by a retired Iowa farmer. Silver with black interior, bucket seats, center console, 383, A/C....go figger. I happened to see him & his wife at a dealership and told him if he couldn't reach an agreement with the salesman, I'd be interested. Thing is....he wouldnt sell it for anything less than what the dealership was allowing on a new-car trade. (this was in '70) But, I really liked the car. A few years later and deep in debt, I had to let it go. Regret it to this day.
I looked thru previous posts and didn't see mine.....so here's the '47. Owned since 1973. Had several other 50s Chrysler products during the 1970s. All were stockers in fairly good condition. My daily is a Dodge Caravan. Wifey had a PT Cruiser til the big tornado got it. Now, she's an Infiniti girl. Gave this one to my son in law after the huge tree fell on it a couple years ago. Now has a replacement roof.
Right here. Had a '55 Dodge Coronet Royal 4 door, but never got it on the road. Now I'm working on a non-HAMB friendly Dodge Aspen, and still looking for another HAMB approved Mopar or any old Mopar really.
I've got a big block, a small block and a hemi. I learned to drive on a '34 Dodge and my avatar is a '27 Dodge Brothers. Thats pretty Mopar
I guess I'll chime in since I have 3 cars With DeSoto Power .. '30 model A sports coupe Running a Built 330 DeSoto & 2 Projects ... '54 Ford Straight axle with 291 DeSoto Hemi Mounted in & a '32 Tudor Sedan Slated for another 291. 440/727 in a '61 Dodge Seneca .... Dormant for awhile. Also have this Early Gow Job Roadster in the Mix. Plus LOTSA Early MoPaR Speed Equipment for Hemi & Inline 6 Flatheads.
My 1960 Plymouth Fury JR body is back from the paint shop. But still need some details painted in. I am working on reproducing the rear quarter emblems and taillight lenses now. I already make the headlight lenses, steering wheel etc Post 635 in this thread shows the before shots. Still need to build a frame for it.
All I can say is WOW! The 61 Dodge and 61 Plymouth blow the 61 Impala clear out of the water. In my opinion. I just don't no why you don't se more of them.
