I Have a 1964 dodge super stock and I am trying to wire in a 4 post kill switch. I had the two post battery kill, but at tech in the car kept running because of the alternator. I have a 1 post alt with a field wire on the other side. The car finally dies when I wire it to the field side of the alt, but the fuel pump stays on because it powers up the ignition side of the regulator! I searched on the internet but cannot find squat. Any help is greatly appreciated! Mike

  2. Wire a relay on the ignition and fuel pump, powered by the battery. Kill the battery and bye bye spark and gas. I did that on a car I added duraspark to, to stop my battery draining overnight from a sneak current on the module.

Use an oil pressure switch in the fuel pump circuit... No oil pressure, the pump kicks off. You really should have one anyhow.

I got it figured out! Thank you to those who replied; I appreciate your time! I hooked one side of the kill switch to the + side of the coil, and the other side of the kill switch to the wire going to the coil. Thanks Mike
