I owned a 66 version of this car, much earlier in its age, it may have looked similar to this one (black with chrome, same wheels, but no red line tires). Mine was a bit more rough, I owned it sometime around 1980. The motor choice for an RT was a 383 4 bbl or a 426 Hemi, mine was the 383, but it did have a 4 speed. I had a love / hate relationship with that car. Loved the 4 speed, it was fun. The car refused to start when the temps reached a -7 F (at -6F it would start), I was a mechanic, fought with that the entire cold winter, never did beat that, hated that part. The car was gone before the next winter, the guy that bought it had no intention of driving it through the winter, we both loved that. I bought a different Mopar to drive to work, it didn't have the 4 speed, but it started every day.
