Any of you guys play with the slants? I'm looking for someone who makes forged pistons that won't require selling my wife.

Ahhhh, the leaning tower of power. I don't know about forged, but I think Enginetech has Hypereutectic pistons for the slant six, remember forged pistons are expensive no matter what motor you have.

  3. Last i checked there are no off the shelf pistons for the slant that are forged. I would use stock cast before I would use hyperpathetics.

You don't need forged unless you are running a very serious slant also.

  4. Waddya doing to the engine? If you're looking for Mo Power, it's hard to beat a turbo. And if you're gonna go turbo, it's hard to beat a bone stock engine. Low comp, go pre 76 and you'll have a forged crank, hard combo to beat.

  6. I'm find your slant motor very appealing. I think the thing I liked the least about them was the distributer location. Is there a viable alternative to this?

The old Hyperpack was based on the 170 which allows for some higher revs. The 225 has a long 4 inch stroke. The torque it makes allows for happy existance in trucks and large cars.

Not to by knowledge. However, in my case I will be running an electric fuel pump and remote oil filter system, so it cleans up that side of the block.
